Hi, today I found a lot of nice flies, here's a Hybotidae- some 3 mms long. NE Hungary, house wall.

Thanks, must be it or close to this genus. Can anyone tell me how to examine terminalia? In the microscope they looked quite amorphous, and too black to see details...

Hi,

This is Crossopalpus sp. Concerning terminalia, dissect them and use KOH, in this group they are strongly sclerotised.
