hello flyforum,

Yesterday, these flies were mostly active on flowers.
In the wing there is a lot of orange and the fly got many long black hairs..
I thought, perhabs this is Tachinidae?

One moment I thought it was Mesembrina meridiana, but looking closer it is certainly another type of fly. (M. meridiana is much bigger, only the black and orange reminds me..)

What kind of fly is this?

greeting, Robert

Zophomyia temula (Tachinidae)
quite common in end may - june

It swings it wings in a peculair fashion (not unlike Tephritidae)

Thank you Theo!

I have not seen them swing with their wings, but I will remind it.
