Hello
I've taken photographs of several imagos of that fly I supposed to be
Coremacera marginata in a hedgerow (May 5th 2006, Optevoz - Is?re FR). Am I right or is
Coremacera a tricky genus?
Thanks
Christophe

Hi Christophe,
I'd rather think it is Platystomatidae, probably, Platystoma itself.

Platystoma lugubris? This fly is very common in Hungary now, I just took some photos of a copulating pair two hours ago in my garden.

ok thank you Nikita and Xespok
I'm stupid! I do know
Platystoma! I looked too fast and focused on spotted wings.
