I agree that this could be Leopoldius calceatus. On the other hand, the large head, pale first antennal segments and intensive brown foremarginal band are more suggestive of Conops insignis to me - but as readers of the forum entry by Isidro (25 Aug) will know, this is not an easy call to make unless you can get a good clear look at the proboscis!
