Habitat: relict marshy land near agricultural area
(Gahash - Not far of Tel-Aviv, Israel)
Size: 2-3mm
General view to show the relative size of the fly to the ants and aphids sizes

Closer look at the Cynanchum acutum flower show many spiderlings of Thomisus onustus pray on this fly.
Here one with successful catch

It is 2 different flies
3,4 - Hecamede, Ephydridae
1,2 - ? (may be Schoenomyza littorela, small Muscidae)

I think 1 and 2 are a
Philygria (Ephydridae). 3 is probably
Hecamede, 4 could be an ephydrid, but not enough to say what.
