Being a male, the first antennal segement is actually very elongated.
Moreover, crassicornis is a spring species.
It seems the dusting on antennal segment 1 is complete.
In which case it is either italica or grandis.
Is this more or less wet area more or less salty ?

Hi Theo,
first time for me in this area.
more or less wet because right now almost everything is dried now. is a wet area and until now i have seen just very few/small patches of salted area.
the place is south of Bucharest, in Comana Natural Park.
also i add another image of the same individual, i'm curios what are that humps on the eye, is normal? hat can be seen also in the image with the full specimen. (sorry for the quality of image)

The humps seem to be clumps of wet hairs (talking about wet).
Can we see a pic of the abdomen ? (so without wings covering it).

Surprise !!
Definitely not italica.
I'm lost and the specimen is not in good condition.
So I'm afraid it ends here.
Thanks for your help

the specimen is perfect/intact but after drying when getting out from alcohol...
is possible to resolve this problem of dehydration?
