Hello,

In the P?rigord (South of France), 24/VII/2008, 270 masl, size about 4-5mm.

Could be Psilopa nitidula, but difficult to be sure.

Thanks to all of you.
To speak openly, it was also the diagnostic of Stephane Lebrun, but he was not quite sure. So, he sent me in the open fire...

According to Drake's key, the middle and hind tibiae should be clear if first fly was nitidula. Is it reliable?

(wouldn't it be more likely polita?)
