The parafacial does look dark and hairy but I can't see the lemon-yellow halteres that I would expect to see on
P.barbifrons. It would still be my best guess but maybe Theo can comment on it :)

Look at the second pic, the parafacialia are all hairy, so it definitely is barbifrons.
The yellow halters are covered by the calyptrae.

I'd go for that too, easier to see than the parafrontal bristles - even if I copy Pic 2 and then work on it with Paintshop all I can see is something that are probably bristles.

Right.
The point is, however, that in pusilla there is nothing, except 1 row of bristles. So 'anything more' implies 'not pusilla'
By the way, the last pic shows the hairs on parafacialia better.
