Hello!

Could anyone give me some indications about the genera of this voracious prdator? This one is often observed in my garden, Hungary.
10-12 mm long.

Hi Tomi,

Looks to me Machimus, possibly Machimus cingulatus but that should be confirmed/corrected by more experienced members. The prey is Pollenia spec.
