Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Conopidae: Leopoldius calceatus?

Hello!
This Conopid from today (northwest Germany) was a bit smaller (8-9 mm) than that from my previous posting. Could it be
Leopoldius calceatus? I never had that genus before...

The russel seems to long, so simply Conops, if you ask me.

Thanks. It did not seem to match any
Conops I had found to date. Mostly the only 2 yellow stripes on the abdomen confused me.

I must have overlooked the single picture in the gallery (and I have always difficulties in recognizing pinned specimens - they look so different from living ones for someone like me, who only watches the animals "in the wild" and doesn't catch and preparate them).
