Moscow, 22 apr, park, 6-7mm.
I found this fly siting on my jeans, so "natural photo" was primordial impossible, so fly was collected.
Arista with long hairs, scutellum hairy on all surface.
S. affinis?

If the mesopleuron is bare and supracervical hairs (under occipital foramen) are pale (not black) that is correct !. :p

that could be S. umbratica. I rather exclude the S. gigantea which male has long golden hairs on postabdominal segmentes :p
