Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Gnat > Ptychopteridae

Hello!

I have encountered with this gnat in my garden, Hungary. I am not sure about that it might be a Tipulid. I vote for any other family. (Keroplatidae??). Could anyone help me? Big sized ~15-20 mm long without legs.

from what i have learned here this will be from Ptychopteridae.
don't know more.
