No, activity is sorrowly low! SO may be I can be of some help!?

I don't think this is D. cothurnata female.

Last week I saw a Dioctria which I assume is cothurnata, because the male leg pattern is unique:

Most flies had orange legs though; I assume them to be conthurnata because of the presence of the single male I was able to photograph.

The leg color pattern is quite different from your's.

But I'm quite a novice in Asilidae-land, so may be we've to wait for the specialists!

Yes, that is correct. I'm turning to hyalipennis instead. I have several and photos of them too and it's very common here. I wish I have my books with me :| Thank's for Your attention :D
