Hi,
Please let me bother you with some more mosquito photographs. I am just eager to find out who is biting me! Is the female a
Culex, and the male an
Aedes?

My first reaction is that the female is also
Aedes, but it's vey late :(, so I'll leave a closer look until tomorrow!:)

The female has no stripes on her legs and bites if she has a chance to (as far as I remember it was early in the afternoon, but I am sure she would have attacked me also in the morning; our mosquitoes are very active). It was funny to watch how quickly her stomach filled with my blood; she flew away quite happy.

The females look like
Ochlerotatus punctor (=
Aedes punctor) - but I am unfamiliar with several of the German species, so this is not a definitive identification!
The males may well be
Ochlerotatus flavescens (from the tarsal colouration), but again this is based on my knowledge of the British species only.
Both species are known as "vicious biters",
punctor perhaps being the worse, frequently coming indoors. Ouch!:@
