Hello,

Still in the Brenne (7/VI/2008), France, a beautiful Asilid feeding on a Panorpa sp..
Are the yellow legs something distinctive?

this is a female Neoitamus. Not identifiable to species level.

The prey is a Rhagio scolopacaeus female (Diptera: Rhagionidae).

Hello,

Thanks to both of you. On the spot, I would have sworn that it was a Panorpa. But looking again at the picture, I see that you're right, Kahis.
