I found this fly in Bexbach/Saarland (Germany). What did I find?

Looks like a Chrysops species (Tabanidae).

If you change the subject to "Tabanidae: Chrysops?" Theo will probably respond.

The fly was determined of a german expert, it is Chrysops caecutiens :).
