This one has caught itself an early Diachrisia chrysitis by the look of it. Is it another Antipalus

Hello,

no, that's no Antipalus, but a male of the large Machimus-group (including male Eutolmus, which are difficult to separate from Machimus in the male sex). There are so many Machimus species in the mediterranean area and there is so much confusion within in the genus Machimus, that I do not try to identify the specimen to species level.

Greetings, Danny Wolff

Thanks Danny,
I will settle for that.

Another possibility is a species of the genus Engelepogon, former Acanthopleura, mainly distributed in the Eastern Mediterraneum.
