Hi Nikita,
Thanks for all the Tephritid photo's, it's a pleasure to see some beautiful flies every once in a while!
This species does look like a
Trupanea, though I am not sure if it's
T. augur. I'll have to look into the literature. All four, for Tephritid 1 indeed is no tephritid, are from Sinai?

1. Yes, all from Sinai (first world in thread is "Sinai"). I have photo of one more Trupanea but with smaller spot. According the key - European Russia Diptera there are two more Trupanea with small spot.
Tomorrow I'll add this bad image too.

Indeed another
Trupanea and indeed not the same species, but I still haven't had the time to look into the literature yet.
