EDIT: It's Tachina nupta! (only 1 proclinate orbital bristle and vitta on tergite 5 too small for T. magnicornis.

This morning I saw a typical male Tachina magnicornis and it was patient with me and allowed photos of it's characterisics.

There seems to only one proclinate orbital and the black abdominal vitta is acute, so I'd say this is a case of T. nupta.

For what it is worth

Thanks Theo, but: Objection, Your honour!

I add a photo of tergite 5 without sun reflections - the vitta ends broad (like on the other tergites).
And as shown in #6: the claws are longer than tarsomere 5, but shorter as tarsomeres 5 + 5 together.

Tachina is a total mess and several traditional features, like the length of claws you mentioned, I do not use since it does not work for me. Variability is great.
This specimen simply has a much too narrow black vitta for me for magnicornis and also one proclinate orbital, if correct, is a no go for magnicornis.

Thanks Theo to clean up the mess! I did not recognize, that 1 proclinate orbital is a no go for magnicornis!
