Found this black fly (3.7 mm) on the wall of my balcony in Minas de Riotinto (Huelva). July 7th, 2026.
Looks familiar, but all those medium sized black flies do.;)
Maybe
Leucostoma?
Any idea?

Hi Andre, I think
Leucostoma is correct and compare the pincer of this female with
L. tetraptera. But it's a difficult genus...

And yes, as far as I can see it is
Leucostoma tetraptera. |t
