Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Leucostoma?; SW Spain

Found this black fly (3.7 mm) on the wall of my balcony in Minas de Riotinto (Huelva). July 7th, 2026.
Looks familiar, but all those medium sized black flies do.;)
Maybe Leucostoma?

Any idea?

Hi Andre, I think Leucostoma is correct and compare the pincer of this female with L. tetraptera. But it's a difficult genus...

And yes, as far as I can see it is Leucostoma tetraptera. |t
