Thread subject: Diptera.info :: male Hybomitra aterrima? -> confirmed

Hi everyone!

Subcallus dusted and no long hairs at front feet, so no H. micans.
Hairs on abdomen clearly white and not golden, so I think no H. auripila, too. ( I compared with male auripila, that I have at home, where they are clearly golden, so it's not an effect of light)

Remains Hybomitra aterrima, which is unfortunately not described in "the book", or do I see that wrong?

Length 13 mm after 2 days drying.

18. June 2026, Germany, Upper Bavaria, northern slopes of Mt. Hochfelln, about 1120 m a.s.l., coordinates 47.77034, 12.56276

I'm aware of that. Still it's unfortunate. ;)

Many thanks for confirming!
