Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Hybomitra bimaculata var. bisignata? -> confirmed

Hi everyone!

This should be Hybomitra bimaculata var. bisignata, right? Slightly red tibiae, antennae partially red, frons narrow and narrowing downwards, no coloured spots on abdomen.

16 mm long.

4. June 2026, Germany, Upper Bavaria, northern slopes of Mt. Hochfelln, about 1130 m a.s.l., coordinates 47.77018, 12.56265

With the naked eye impossible to tell from micans. For me at least.
