Hello,
I found this fly sitting on a house-wall in Wasserbillig (Luxembourg) this 04.05. Length about 8-10mm.
It made me laugh because it was really reluctant to leave my finger and return to the wall.
Concerning ID, I think it's either a
Conops or
Leopoldius.
