Have a nice Day. One Question please. Is it possible to identify this Syrphus species more precisely? I would be very grateful for an answer.
Discovery data: Austria, Lower Austria, Tattendorf, 220m, riparian forest, April 8, 2026, size approx. 7mm

Sure. If you provide pictures with better visible hind femora and eyes (hairy?) of this female. If I should judge from the vaguely visible light (?) hind femora, I would say Syrphus ribesii.
