Hello,
Here is a male Chironomidae found on March 29, 2026, in a wet meadow in Villeneuve d'Ascq (Nord, France). It was resting on a leaf of Symphytum officinale.
Is it possible to identify its genus or, at least, its subfamily ?
Thank you in advance,
Dominique
