Can the species of this Pollenia be identified more precisely?
Size: approximately 10 mm
Date found: March 4, 2026
Habitat: Terrace
Location: Nürnberger Land district, 340 m above sea level

Servus neighbour, most Pollenia can only be identified by an examination under a microscope and this male is on of these...
Based on the pale basicosta and the yellow hairs on mid femora i propose
P. angustigena.

For me and my image collection,
Pollenia cf. angustigena is sufficient.
