Yes, I think you are right about
P. albimana, but the yellow scutellum somewhat confuses me - as well as the hind metatars which is only very slightly paler.

I compared your cranefly with Peeters & Oosterbroek (2015): Langpootmuggen en aanverwante families, Tabel P: Ptychopteridae (Glansmuggen)
But I have an update from my own image collection:
In 2017/18 I could take some photos of females and males and one female has exactly the same colouration of the area between the wings including the yellow scutellum. Others are black or black and yellow. Also the 3rd metatars varies between darker and brighter pale. I'm quite sure now, that your male
Ptychoptera is
albimana.

Until the really close
P incognita is discovered in Spain anyway (not yet known in France)
