Hello everyone!
I found this (caterpillar?) fly on the flower head of a yarrow plant. Does the above identification match?
Size: less than 10 mm
Date found: October 3, 2025
Habitat: Green area near a regional train station
Location: Schnaittach, Nuremberg region, approx. 340 m above sea level
