Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Anthomyiidae or Muscidae? (10.08.25) --> males: Hydrophoria ruralis

Hello,

I found these 7 mm Muscoids on a railing above a small brook (northwest Germany). A male on pictures #1 and #2, and a female on pic #3. The latter shows the same thorax pattern, so I think it could be of the same species.
