Hello,
I wonder if this male of Asilidae might be Neomochtherus pallipes in spite of its yellow legs. Seen on 2025-jun-26 inside a house at Saint-Orens-de-Gameville, 31650, France (near Toulouse)

Hi,

I think this is could be N schineri. Note the all white mystax, the uniformly yellow femora and the shape of the genitalia. In schineri the second antennal segment should be reddish, this is hard to see in these pictures unfortyunately,

Best,
Jonne

N. schineri it surely is. Note the shape of the terminalia very similar to that of N. geniculatus and rather different from pallipes.
