Hello,

am I right here with a male of Eristalinus sepulchralis? Ca. 10 mm, in abandoned courtyard (northwest Germany).

Hallo Jürgen, I think, the eyes are not completely hairy and the tip of hind femora is yellow.
Female E. aeneus?

That is interesting, thanks! I assumed, that E. aeneus would not occur here, because it prefers coastal or at least sandy environments. We have a chalky underground here.
