Hello,
I have these Anthomyiidae that keep keying (with the key British Anthomyiidae ACKLAND, BENTLEY & BRIGHTON) out at Botanophila striolata, however they have 8 anterodorsal bristles on the hind tibea, whereas the key defines maximum of 4. Does anyone have tips on what these might be, or other keys that might be worth trying?
many thanks!!!
males, from Romania, 2024, size around 5mm
tergite 6 with strong setae, Hind tibia without a well developed apical pv-seta, eyes on frons very close together

"Hind tibia without a well developed apical pv-seta"
Hind tibia with a row of about 20 pv-seta (photo 2) = Delia platura (or D. florilega)
