Hi everyone!
What is this? Looks like
Hybomitra, but totally black, without triangles or any spots on the abdomen, Significantly smaller than all the
H. auripila, whose local population rapidly decreased during my stay (and also smaller than
H. micans from a few days ago, as well as much less hairy).
14 mm long (see last picture)
13.6.2025, Germany, Upper Bavaria, near summit of Mt. Hochfelln, 1650 m a.s.l., coordinates 47.76116,12.55944

Black body, all black legs, blackish palpi: it seems to be H. aterrima.
I wish to have this species in my collection someday...

The only similar is H. caucasica with yellowosh brown palpi covered by pale hairs and with its face covered by light hairs...
