Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Odiniidae indet. (maybe Odinia sp.) <-- Which 4mm fly?

Hello,

can someone help with this 4 mm (estimated) fly? I found it sitting next to a sap oozing wound on Acer platanoides.


Northern Germany, Hildesheim, deciduous forest, 01.05.2025, 125m, ~4 mm

Odiniidae, not an easy family to identify to species level.
Probably Odinia spec. Often even difficult with the specimen under de microscope.
