Dear all,

Can someone help me ID this specimen of a Hydrotaea? A small swarm was hovering in a sunny patch surrounded by shrubs in my garden, the Netherlands, 01-May-2025.

Help would be much appreciated! I have the specimen in alcohol, so could check for additional features!

Thank you very much mr. Vikhrev! Nice to see you described Azelia beuki, named after the founder of this website and friend Paul Beuk.

Kind regards, Jochem Kühnen.
