Have a nice Day. One Question please. Can anyone help me with this diptera-species? I would be very grateful for an answer. Best Regards Karl.
Data: Austria, Lower Austria, Tattendorf, 220m, fruit and herb garden, 3.4.2025, size 3-5mm

It could be one of the Ulidiidae - perhaps Melieria?

Hello Eric thank you for the Answer of cf. Ulidiidae sp. I'll wait a bit longer to see if anyone else gets in touch. For me, the head protrudes relatively far between the eyes.
