Hello,
I found this Dolichopodidae in August 2024 not far from a large pound in a deciduous wood in Villeneuve-d'Ascq (Nord department in France). It was moving on a log lying on the ground. I think it is the genus
Argyra. What is your opinion on the identify of this insect ? Is it possible to name a species ?
Thank you in advance.
Dominique

Hello,
I would like to have your opinion on this Dolichopodidae. In my research I saw this individual of the species
Argyra perplexa female (https://www.commanster.eu/Commanster/Insects/Flies/SpFlies/Argyra.perplexa.html) which seemed very close to my insect. Could it possibly be this species ? Thank you for your help.
