Hello,
Here is a Tipula found in march 2023 in the South of France (Canohès 66680 - Pyrénées-Orientales), altitude 100m.
The white band behind the brown costal cell indicates the subgenus Tipula.
It has 13 antennal articles ==> Exit paludosa.
It flies in march ==> exit subcunctans.
So, it is probably the common species Tipula (Tipula) oleracea, but It could also be a rarer species which could be present here such as mediterranea, orientalis or plumbea ?
Are there any reliable criteria for determination between these species that could be visible in this photo?
