Femora orange/ brown (exactly as bigoti).
Is it ok for italica ?

I have a doubt with this one, could it be gallica ? The first segment is not so long as italica in direct comparaison with the other specimen in my other post. (And I found two specimens of gallica in our pro collection, identified by M. Portillo, same area, North western France)

Gallica is just a synonym of italica, it is a "ghost species"

And yes, very nice female italica. In doubt, colouration of femora is a big clue (otherwise only found in bigoti, very different, and grandis)

As I recall, it was a publication by Wolfgang Schacht, but I cannot find it 1-2-3.
In any case, given as synonym by Portillo for Iberian peninsula.
