Hello,
I photographed this 6.5 mm long
Macrocera near Lyon (center-east of France), in a low-altitude (400m) hill with forest, meadows and glades.
It was inside a "caborne", a little stone structure which served as a shelter for farm workers.
It was suggested it could be
M. longibrachiata due to the darkened tergite's extremities.
What do you think? I don't have any other pics unfortunately.

There are some markings on the radial veins and that would rule out
M. longibranchiata. The British key leads to
M. bipunctata which, since the publication of the key, has been shown to be a junior synonym of
Macrocera inversa.
