Hi,
Is there any chance to get closer than the family name in this case? Pic taken on the Baltic Island of Usedom in August.

Well, a guess of a subfamily is fine, even if it is a big one. Ichneumonidae are so nice animals that I cannot stop taking pictures of them, though I realize I shall hardly be able to label the pics. Your help is greatly appreciated - many thanks, Camille.

It is a difficult family and perhaps that somebody can contradict me, I always take other opinions when it is possible! :)
