Hello everyone,
is that Sicus ferrugineus? Found today in southwest Germany on a dry meadow.

Hello Siegfried,
most likely
ferrugineus. But from these photos the other
Sicus species cannot be excluded.

I also found the first
Sicus today.

Hi Jürgen,
Thank you for your tip. The fly was patient, but unfortunately it was sitting in such a way that I couldn't photograph the abdomen. I will then file the picture under Sicus sp.
