There is only one genus of Camillidae in Europe and four in total.
Camilla is fairly widespread. The genus
Afrocamilla is found in Africa and western North America. The other two genera are restricted to Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
At least in America and Africa they are rarely collected so surprises are possible.
