Hello,
In last August I saw many Eristalinus specimens on the Baltic Island of Usedom. Many were E. sepulchralis, but this one I hesitate to put into that species. Could it be E. aeneus instead? Which characters separate these two species?
Thanks for teaching, Sundew

This is a sepulchralis female. Thorax with 5 clear stripes and dull median parts of tergites, for example :)
