Hello,
I found this gallmidge on Juli 17, 2021 in Göttingen, Lower Saxony, Germany.
Could it be identified further? (I know that this is quite unlikely with Cecidomyiids, but I thought I would try anyways.. )
Thank you for your help!
Gerrit

Supertribe Cecicomyiidi based on the antennae, possibly
Lestodiplosis based on the wing pattern.

Thank you! just FYI, I put the observations on Inaturalist; Is it ok, when I mention taht it has been identified by you when I update the identification (and I would add the link to this Diptera.info Forum thread, too)?
All the best

You can repeat my comment. I don't know if there are any other genera with the same wing pattern.
