Hello,

This fly seems to be Hydrophoria lancifer ?

Plumose arista, setulae on scutellum and between ac (so no Hylemya), no dark foremarginal bands on abdomen and short epandrium

What do you think ?

As no-one else seems to be willing to volunteer, I'd say that this very likely is Hydrophoria lancifer. An abundant species during summer. Especially in May to July. In Denmark, anyway :)
