Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Culicidae: Aedes geniculatus/echinus

Hello,

I photographed this fly near Umito (AP), Italy, 760m a.s.l. on July 22nd 2023. I think it is a Culicidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

The short cerci and unbanded legs suggest Aedes geniculatus/echinus
