During my excursion to the South of Oman this September, I saw quite a number of Asilidae (I hope) and would be very happy if you could help me to sort them out (or even better - ort them in). The region is defined by the huge Omani dessert inland, the Indian Ocean and a small strip of land between those, which is regularly watered by a summerly monsun. Huge biodiversity, although we where a little late and missed a lot.

This one was seen on 23-SEP-2023 at an aride side some km from the shore but on sea level, probably 13-15mm.
