Thread subject: Diptera.info :: larva in walnut leaf galls

Upon opening mite-induced walnut galls (Aceria tristriata) several of these larvae turned up (one per gall).

My first thought was Cecidomyiidae - what do you think (also, whether diptera larva at all...)
