Hello,
I photographed this fly in Campo Imperatore (AQ), Italy, 1500m a.s.l. on June 2nd 2023. I think it is a Tachinidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?
Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

I think
Baumhaueria goniaeformis, since the other European species have black scutellum.

the eye in B. microps is even much smaller (nomen est omen), so I agree.
